Vakhtang Darchinyan lost to Agbeko

IBF/WBA/WBC super flyweight champion Vic Darchinyan (32-1-1, 26 KOs) lost by points  to  the IBF bantamweight title from Joseph Agbeko (26-1, 22 KOs) on July 11 at the Bank Atlantic Center in Sunrise, Florida.

Vik Darchinyan in top ten list

The absolute world champion (WBC, IBF and WBA) in the first lightest weight, Armenian boxer Vakhtang Darchinyan entered the top ten of the best boxers of the world regardless of weight category.
According to  the rating Pound For Pound (on 1 March 2009) published by the American magazine “The Ring”, Darchinyan is located on the tenth place. The head of top is ex-world champion in several weight classes Manny Pakyao (Philippines). After him in the list are situated  Juan Manuel Marquez (Mexico), Bernard Hopkins (USA), Israel Vazquez (Mexico), Sheyn Moseley (USA), Rafael Marquez (Mexico), Ivan Calderon (Puerto Rico), Ricky Hatton (England), Celestino Caballero (Panama) and Vakhtang Darchinyan (Armenia).

Vic “Raging Bull” Darchinyan punished Jorge Arce.

Yes,he did it!!!
Our Vic Darchinyan once more proved that he is a great boxer.
Congratulations Vic from all armenians around the world!

Undisputed super flyweight champion Vаkhtang Darchinyan punished Jorge Arce with powerful left hooks from the opening bell on his way to an 11th-round knockout Saturday night.

Darchinyan retained his WBA, WBC and IBF belts with the victory over the determined but outclassed Arce.

Arce’s face was covered with blood and his knees were buckling as he took punches on the ropes in the closing seconds of the 11th round. The ring physician examined a gash near the fighter’s right eye and determined he should not come out for the 12th.

Vic Darchinyan takes WBC,WBA,IBf superflyweight titles!

Vik Darchinyan did it! 
The right cross and left hook in the 9th round knocked-out Mijares.
All three judges had the same points – 79-72, which means that Mijares has won only one round of 9. 
Vik got 3 belts (IBF, WBO, WBC) and ranked  first in the history of boxing absolute champion in super flyweight
